1959 – Sheep market in Kuwait

A rare photograph of Safat Al-Ghanam in Kuwait in 1959, once a well-known livestock trading area. Today, the site is occupied by the Kuwait Radio and Television building and the Ministry of Information building, reflecting Kuwait’s remarkable urban development over the decades.
