France , Square Saint Pierre 1882
Place Saint-Pierre is a public square in the city of Nantes, France. Located east of Nantes Cathedral, the square serves as the interior of Nantes Cathedral, thus inheriting the first part of the cathedral's name.
Place Saint-Pierre is located at the eastern entrance to the old city, within the walls of the Gallo-Roman fortress, built after 270. The first cathedral on the site was built in the 4th century.
