Egypt, 19th-century means of transportation, 1870
We see a horse-drawn carriage carrying men from one place to another. Such carriages were an important means of transportation at the time, before the invention of the automobile. The shot appears to show a Moroccan driver (as evidenced by his clothing). I also believe it was taken in Port Said, documenting one of the most important means of transportation at that time, one we never saw with our own eyes.
