Road and communication pass between the Arab city and the city Yemen Aden 1880

Some historical sources attribute the construction of Bab Aden to Shaddad bin Aad, where a gate was dug in the mountain, and Aden was made a prison for those who were angry with him. King Al-Nasir Al-Rasuli expanded the Aden land gate, as mentioned in the book “History of the Rasulid State.” This is what was called Bab Al-Ziyada, which was built in the year 809 AH near the old Aden gate. Professor and historian Hassan Saleh Shihab indicates that the aforementioned Bab Al-Ziyada is Bab Al-Aqaba. Bab Aden (Aqaba) occupies an important strategic location, and its gate used to open in the morning and close in the evening.
