This is a rare photo of a very famous spot in the coastal city of Alexandria: Stanley Beach, at the beginning of the twentieth century, in 1903 AD.
This photo was taken before the construction of the Corniche Road and the cabins that currently exist. The Corniche Road in Alexandria was built in the early 1930s.
